Guidelines for Post-doctoral Research :
Eurasian University aims to encourage motivated young researchers who are willing to apply to any national funding agency for support for doing research in frontier areas of Science, Engineering, Technology, Humanities, Social sciences and allied areas at the Post-doctoral level. The Post-doctoral research fellows will work with a Professor-Mentor.
Eligibility Criteria for the Applicants :
All applicants Applicants must hold a doctorate or equivalent are eligible to submit the application. Those who have submitted their Ph.D thesis and are awaiting award of the degree are also eligible to apply. Applicants should have an outstanding track record as evident from the quality of the research outputs and publications.
The upper age limit for the applicant is 45 years at the time of the submission of application.
Financial Support of the University:
Eurasian University provides Post-doctoral fellowship by deducting the 75% fee of course tenure. However, the university will provide necessary administrative and documents support for successful candidates who get financial support from external funding agencies.
Professor-Mentors :
The applicant must first identify a suitable Mentor in the university with which the proposed research objectives will be pursued. If the Professor-Mentor is satisfied by the research proposal, he/she will forward the application of the fellow to the Chancellor / Vice-Chancellor through a Recommendation Committee for administrative approval.
A Mentor should hold a regular academic or research position in the university with a Ph.D degree and have at least 3 years research experience. He/she can work with 2 Post-doctoral fellows at any point of time.
Documents :
At the time of forwarding the application of the candidate, the following documents are required:
1) Research proposal.
2) Proof of Date of Birth.
3) Proof of Identity (citizenship)
4) Proof of Ph.D. Degree or proof of Ph.D. thesis submission certificate.
5) Endorsement Or Recommendation Letter signed by 2 references reputed professors or head of institution.
6) Soft Copy of two best publications. ( Research Paper / Book )
7) CV.
Recommendation Committee :
An independent Recommendation Committee shall assess the research proposal of the applicant. The Recommendation Committee shall include (a) Mentor, and, (b) members of the Departmental Ph.D Committee. The Head of the concerned Department will be the Convener of the committee.
Foreign Nationals : (with English fluency criteria)
Recommendation will be made on a case-by-case basis for foreign students willing to carry out Post-doctoral research work at the University. The Hon’ble Chancellor shall take the final decision in this regard.
Disputes :
Any dispute arising out of or relating to the recommendation/permission for Post-doctoral research proposal, including any question regarding its implementation or termination, the Hon’ble Chancellor shall take the final decision.
